“BITCOIN IN 2011”

The idea, not a claim. Nothing here is a prediction. I am not selling anything.

Speed, Efficiency and Symbiosis.

Not the price. The moment: a handful of people running real work on their own machines.

SYMBIOSIS

decentralized workforce

The datacenters cannot be built fast enough. AI burns new power in a few buildings while millions of graphics cards sit idle in homes. And the whole thing belongs to a handful of companies.

I think the fix is a workforce, not a protest. Ordinary people, their own hardware, doing real AI work, credited for it in the open. Speed, because the hardware already exists. Efficiency, because it is already switched on. Symbiosis, because the people who own it should be in it.

I built the first version. It runs on your machine, it only writes text, it never runs anything a server sends, and you can stop it any time. I need ten people to run it with me before anyone else cares.

There is nothing to buy. SES is a record of the work your machine did, not money, and I make no promise it will ever be worth anything. What I am asking for is a chance: your idle graphics card, an hour of setup, and your judgment on whether this should exist.

What runs on your machine

On your computer, Symbiosis runs:
- symbiosis.exe the app and its status page (127.0.0.1 only)
- symbiosis-miner.exe takes text jobs, hands them to Ollama, sends the text back
- Ollama installed by you, from ollama.com
- qwen2.5:3b (or 7b) an open AI model, about 1.9 GB, pulled by you

It talks to:
- a coordinator to receive text jobs and report finished work
- Base Sepolia a test blockchain: reads the coordinator list every
few minutes (read-only, no cost); sends a transaction
                         only when you click Claim

It never:
- runs code or scripts a server sends
- downloads models or files because a server asks
- lets Ollama listen to your network (it refuses to start if it does)
- starts with your computer unless you turn that on

Your files: %APPDATA%\Symbiosis (Windows) or ~/.config/symbiosis (Linux).

Take the chanceCall, text or email me. I answer everything myself. Ten seats for now.

What I owe you: every job your machine does is recorded on your own computer, and the status page shows your totals. If I shut it down, I will tell you why. If it works, you were there first.

Where this is today: an invite-only testnet with about ten helpers. SES is a test credit on the Base Sepolia test network. It has no money value, it cannot be bought from us, and we make no promise that it will ever be worth anything. The text jobs your computer runs today come from my own research work.
